Invictus International School
Invictus International School is a proprietary brand of Sing-Ed Global Schoolhouse Pte Ltd (Sing-Ed Global), the education arm of the Singapore Exchange Mainboard-listed Chip Eng Seng Corporation Ltd. Headquartered in Singapore, Sing-Ed Global’s education business has a geographical presence in Singapore, Cambodia, Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, the People’s Republic of China and (through its associated companies) Israel and the United States of America. The scope of the business ranges from operating pre-schools, K-12 international schools and enrichment centres as well as investments in education technology companies.

Founded in 2015, Invictus International School has grown from 40 students and 15 staff to over 1,500 students and 300 staff with campuses that reach beyond Singapore's shores, including Hong Kong, China, Cambodia and Thailand.

Invictus was founded to provide quality and affordable education from Kindergarten to Cambridge A-Levels, utilising rigorous internationally renowned curricula and providing immersive classroom experiences through experienced educators to help each child develop a spirit of lifelong learning and excellence.

In 2018, CES diversified into the education industry as CES Education, later renamed to Sing-Ed Global Schoolhouse in 2020, reflecting the company’s brand positioning as an education provider with global aspirations. We strive to be a long-term investor in sustainable education.

Our investments include Preschool to Grade-12 and in educational services leveraging on technologies regionally and globally.

We aim to be an internationally recognized brand, focusing on East-Asia.

Prof. Low Teck Seng is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Research Foundation. He was previously the Managing Director of A*STAR (2010 – 2012). Prior to this, Professor Low assumed the roles of founding principal of Republic Polytechnic (2002 – 2008) and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the National University of Singapore (1998 – 2000). He also led A*STAR’s Data Storage Institute (1992 – 1998) as Executive Director.
Prof. Low was awarded the National Science and Technology Medal in 2004 – for his contributions to the domain of R&D, propelling Singapore’s growth and development. In 2007, he was also awarded the Public Administration Medal (Gold) for his meritorious service to Singapore.
Prof. Low is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE), an International Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK and Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineers.

Prof. Leo Tan Wee Hin has a Ph.D. degree in Marine Biology and he is concurrently President of the Singapore National Academy of Science as well as Professor of Biological Sciences and Director of Special Projects in the Faculty of Science at the National University of Singapore.
Prior to this, Prof. Leo was Director of the National Institute of Education and Director of the Singapore Science Centre. His research interests pertain to the fields of marine biology, ICT in education, Science education, Museum Science, Telecommunications, and Transportation.
Prof Leo has numerous publications in international refereed journals.

Prof. Bernard C Y Tan is Senior Vice Provost (Undergraduate Education) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He assists the Provost in setting educational directions and policies, and in assuring educational quality for the University. He has oversight of Registrar's Office, Office of Admissions, Centre for Development of Teaching and Learning, Centre for Instructional Technology, Centre for Future-Ready Graduates, Centre for the Arts, Institute for Application of Learning Science and Educational Technology, NUS Libraries, and NUS Teaching Academy.

Prof Tan was Vice Provost (Undergraduate Education and Student Life) from 2012 to 2017, Associate Provost (Undergraduate Education) from 2009 to 2012, Executive Council Chair of NUS Teaching Academy in 2009, Head of Department of Information Systems from 2002 to 2008, and Assistant Dean in School of Computing from 2000 to 2002. His achievements include the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2012, NUS Outstanding Educator Award in 2004, and NUS Young Researcher Award in 2002.

Prof Tan was President (from 2009 to 2010) and Asia-Pacific Council Representative (from 2004 to 2006) of the Association for Information Systems (AIS). He is a Fellow of the AIS. He has served on the editorial boards of MIS Quarterly (Senior Editor), Journal of the AIS (Senior Editor), IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management (Department Editor), Management Science (Associate Editor), ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems (Associate Editor), and Journal of Management Information Systems (Editorial Board Member).

Prof Tan is Shaw Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics. His research interests include social media, virtual communities, and Internet commerce. He has given invited talks and keynote addresses at various international conferences. His research work has been published in major international journals and conference proceedings in the field of information systems.

Prof. David Hung is Dean of Education Research and Centre Director of Science of Learning in Education at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. His research interests are in learning and instructional technologies, constructivism and social constructivism, cognition and communities of practice. In particular, he is interested in the social cultural orientations in the contextual systems of schools in Singapore and he works on scaling of innovations in schools as one of his key research foci. Professor Hung has also delved into the Science of Learning in Education. His foundations in learning and the learning sciences has prepared him for his foray into the neuroscience, physiological, and other biological indicators of learning. Professor Hung juxtaposes the science of educational systems with the science of learning. More recently, he was appointed as the NTU’s President’s Chair in Learning Sciences.

Most of Professor Hung’s keynotes are on the interplay between the intersection of policy, learning sciences and the science of learning. His publications are internationally known, and he is an authority in the fraternity of learning sciences and educational technology communities in both the local and international scenes.

Associate Professor Wu Siew Mei is Vice Dean of Students at the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), National University of Singapore. Prior to this, she was the Director of the Centre for English Language Communication (CELC), playing a key role in elevating English communication skills of both local and international undergraduate and graduate students at the National University of Singapore.

Associate Professor Wu has also served as Chief Editor for the Centre’s International Symposium Proceedings and has done invited reviews for various international journals, including the Journal for Second Language Writing. She currently sits on the Editorial Board for the on-line Asian Journal of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (AJSoTL).

As a council member of the English Language Institute of Singapore’s (2012-2018), she provided advisory guidance to the design and development of the English Language syllabus for Singapore schools. Recently, she completed her advisory role to English assessment matters through the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Bureau (2018-2020) initiative on reviewing the General Paper assessment format.

Mr Tan Yap Kwang graduated from Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada with a B Sc Hons degree in Physics and a B Ed degree.
After joining the Singapore Education Service, he attended the University of London Institute of Education and obtained a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and Education Statistics.
In the Ministry of Education, Mr Tan served in several Divisions and was the Director for various Divisions including Planning, Educational Technology and Examinations. As Director of Educational Technology, he spearheaded the Ministry’s first IT Masterplan.
In 2004, he helped establish the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) and was appointed as its first Chief Executive. During his tenure in SEAB, he implemented various reforms in Singapore’s National Examinations, including greater control of the GCE O-level and A-level examinations, in partnership with Cambridge Assessment.
